i have always really loved land art (strijdom van der merwe is a particular favourite), and i know some people might scoff at the concept but most of the time i find it more interesting to look at than traditional sculpture… perhaps it’s just my tiny inner hippy that finds it appealing. i discovered richard shilling recently, imagine going for a walk in the forest and discovering one of these beauties…
