i remember studying the french lieutenant’s woman in english class at school when i was about 15 or so, and the teacher describing jeremy irons as a dish. i think that was the first time i had heard the word – and it has obviously stuck with me! – and although i couldn’t see it at the time, i must now concur: jeremy irons is a dish.
and sting isn’t too shabby either…
