i know most people call artists by their surnames, but i would really like it if everyone referred to dürer as albrecht. it really suits his work, i think. i was just having a wee browse today and realised how much his stuff cheers me up – even though (probably because) most of it is remarkably wack looking. that’s probably not the best word to describe dürer (albrecht) … but it would be nice if art theorists used it now and then.
i first came across hetterson via anja who i also follow on flickr, she was the photographer for the beautiful new spring lookbook. wowsies. then i realised hetterson is the new name of designer hannah elise’s previous label bekvam. aah, it’s all making sense to me now. what a talent. shop the collection here.
i think about university quite often and what i would have done differently if i could do it all over again (a dangerous game.) probably should have worked harder, dressed better & partied less. that would have changed everything, i swear!
welcome beyond is a website “showcasing the most beautiful and unique vacation homes & boutique hotels around the world” or “hand-picked paradise” – as they put it. well, that’s handy.
to tell you the truth i don’t look at interior blogs & websites all too often. mostly because they make me so insanely jealous and fed up that i end up closing them almost immediately. now and then i go through a binge and purge phase of devouring as much interior inspiration as i can, though – this is one of those moments.
since i’m in a tina kind of mood. man, this woman is INFECTIOUS. just watch any of her live performances & you can’t help but feel your heart swell for her. they also make you want to run up and down some stairs (those legs!)
… puts a smile on my face every single time.
thought i’d highlight the best of both worlds – since you notherners are slowly skipping into spring, and us southerners are steadily creeping into autumn. i’m sure we are both eager for a change … i know i am.
