Three’s Company

there are a few new collections i’ve spotted around lately – three in particular – that have been making me quite excited for summer, and it only makes sense to share them all in one go. three’s company, three time’s a charm… you know what i’m saying. love the vibrant block colours from Dress Up (and the model is SMILING and having fun – yay!), digging on the greek holiday feel that Wren is bringing for her spring collection and really appreciate the floral goodness and summer skirts happening over at Kelly Love.

thanks to Mallory and Jen for sharing Dress Up & Kelly Love.

Stuff Lately

i had a few posts prepped for yesterday & today but unfortunately my computer c-c-c-rrraaasssshhhheeed and i spent the entire day trying to fix it yesterday. sigh. i managed to get it back up and running this morning, but while i sort that bugger out here’s an update on some instagrammin’ and real life things that have been going on. did you see the new instagram web profiles that have launched? they are still busy rolling it out, but you can see what it will look like by visiting famous people’s instagram profiles like oh, i don’t know, Barack Obama.

in the meantime you can follow me @miss_moss or just check out my instagram page.

Essie Letterpress Limited Ed.

when i was at Kamers vol Geskenke last weekend the best tent had all my favourite cape town creatives & shops in it – Skermunkil, Artymiss, Good Clothing, Mr & Mrs etc. Essie Letterpress was one of them – a stationery company i’m always excited to see at markets & events in and around Cape Town.

i was especially taken by their recent collaboration with some of my favourite local designers including Jordan Metcalf, Daniel Ting Chong, Katrin Coetzer and Adam Hill amongst others. each artist was given a month to illustrate that they interpreted in their own style. i regret not buying a print that day, but the good news is that City Mob is holding a sale on the range at this very moment – including the rad calender that includes all 12 prints.

you can also shop the rest of Essie’s range here – i have the Come Back To Me print on my wall, it’s rad.

Syrup

you may remember that i’ve posted about Japanese mail order clothing line Syrup before. i had a gander at their latest ranges, which include an Alice in Wonderland line and a Moomin line – as well as their Autumn Range. i can’t really tell you much more than that since google translate isn’t exactly helping me learn Japanese. you can get a pretty good idea of what they offer by checking out their digital autumn catalogue, or just by clicking around the site blindly like i did. it’s fun, trust me.
