i was sitting at my computer today, at work, after the usual 40 minute commute – and my back was hurting. my arms were stiff. all this sitting… is not helping my life. and i felt uninspired, and tired. i felt like i was having a bit of a moment at that desk. so i had a cup of tea and just decided to stop being such a Debbie Downer.
that’s when i discovered the work of talented artist Alicia Galer – which was pretty serendipitous actually, considering that i have been looking at so much floral inspiration lately. her drawings & collages of bouquets, gardens, plants, leaves and cacti really just made my day. so thanks, Alicia. you can browse more of her work at her website, blog and online shop.
Alicia Galer is a third year Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern design student currently based in Leeds. Her practice involves drawing in an expressionist manner from different inspiring spaces.
