Golden Year

i have always been terrible at planning. i don’t plan my day or my week or make lists or any of that stuff – i know i should. and sometimes when i do manage to sort myself out it is almost always handwritten. i tried to use list apps and other techno things to help me out in that department once, but actually having a piece of paper with a list of things i need to do or remember – that is the most helpful to me.

in comes Julia Kostreva, who has designed an amazing new range of planners and calendars and other nice things in her new Golden Year collection. you can shop it here.

My goal for myself is to make my next year better and brighter, looking into my heart and reflecting on what I know. I’m hoping to find a golden ratio of work, life, and that magic of self reflection. The planners for this year are tailored to that idea, and so I’ve called the line Golden Year. Many pieces of the collection are inspired by California, sand, sun and waves.

  1. Wow, Julia’s designs are absolutely beautiful. However, I would love to be able to have a peak inside of these planners, as even though we all want a lovely looking planner, it’s how the pages are laid out on the inside that really determine if I am to use a planner or not. Are the M-SU on one page with the facing page a lined one for me to write notes? Or do the M-SU take up two pages? for example…

It’s really lovely she has iphone cases too – so that if you are like me – someone who has gone fairly digitl with planning but still needs the old-fashioned paper and pen too – you can match your planner to your phone :)

  2. These are too cool! I love the colors and the marble effect, and I’m always on the hunt for good notebooks!

  3. Ohh I <3 Julia Kostreva! Her 2015 calendar was part of my ' top 10 calendars for 2015' post, but these notebooks are arguably even nicer! (and mobile..)
