Easter always marks a change in season for me – over here we are obviously rolling toward winter, and this past weekend was no exception. we lit a fire for the first time in ages! it wasn’t even that cold, but it had to be done. similarly i’ve been noticing that many up north are surfacing from tundra-like conditions, with spring dresses + bare legs popping up all over my Instagram.
so it’s nice to welcome the change in season with a new collection from Tony Chestnut, who i always love blogging about. Jill Sawatzky’s SS15 collection features a nice balance between blush pink tones and neutral black and greys – and love the hint of floral on that gorgeous LBD. you can shop the collection here.
My most recent collection was actually inspired by the more relaxed and intimate photos of Frida Kahlo, that are harder to find. There’s something so magical to me about contradiction, and in these images of Frida with conservative dress and hair, her powerful independence and artistic strength is just undeniably gorgeous.
