when i first saw the new AW15 collection by London based shoe line Dear Frances i actually said “oooooooh this is GOOD!” out loud. the collection is called Lagom, which means “not too little, not too much, just right” in Swedish.

Jane Frances studied at the London College of Fashion and ModaPelle Academy in Milan, where she learned from some of the most accomplished shoe designers in the world. After graduating, she spent her formative years in Milan, learning the technical art of Italian craftsmanship under the guidance of her teacher and mentor. With a strong design aesthetic and great respect for artisan detailing, Jane brings a fresh approach to shoe design for the sophisticated urban woman.

i honestly cannot pick my favourite out of all of these. they are exactly the kind of shoes i want to wear. it’s like we’ve hit the shoe jackpot here, people. shop Dear Frances online.

  1. Oh boy (or girl!) excuse me while I drool, these are all so good!

  2. WHOA! The cut-out, buckle booties in the oxblood; the all-black boots with the gold zipper; and the color block (black/oxblood) boots are my favorite from what you’ve posted. I’ll DEFINITELY browse the shop after I finish leaving this comment. These are definitely shoes that I would design myself, if I was making my ideal boot. They look so beautiful and well-crafted!

  3. I love these shoes, especially the brogues. Extra points for the name…when this post came up in my RSS feed I fleetingly thought it was some sort of personalised post, ha!
