it’s not often that i post about every collection of a brand, but so is the case with Paloma Wool. the latest collection from Barcelona based designer Paloma Lanna might be the most interesting yet, featuring collaborations with an illustrator and eight ceramic artists.
Collection No. 5 revolves around a series of ceramic drawings illustrated by Tana Latorre. Tana is a Barcelona based illustrator born and raised in Nairobi. She filled the drawings with things that reminded her of me: Miró, Picasso’s ceramics, plants, doves and hands. From these drawings 8 ceramic Artists from around the world interpreted each piece bringing them to life. The participating Artists have been Alana Wilson, Helen Levi, Akiko Tsuji, Romy Northover, Tara Burke, Leandro Marcelino from Hey Camel Ceramics, Romina Gris and Nona Bruna.
