forests affect man and his world profoundly. paper, for which the forests produce raw material, is the principal tool man uses to record his thoughts. this is the theme of the canadian pulp and paper pavilion on ile notre-dame – in which the tallest trees are as high as an eight story building.
i discovered this tumblr filled with old playboy photos from the 50s & 60s (and some 70s). it’s all very tame, sweet & nice to look at (though many images are not suitable for work – boobs). if playboy was still like this, i would buy it.

henry diltz is a musician & photographer who captured some of the most famous musicians of the 60s and 70s on film, and was the official photographer for woodstock 1969. he is still active today.
