Alessandra Rich

this collection by Alessandra Rich was actually released way back in October when the Spring 2013 collections came out, so I’m surprised i’ve only caught on now. why have those fabulous flamed dresses been eluding me for so long! not to mention that first lace number. yes. there’s also a bit of The Never Ending Story Childlike Empress thrown in, which you won’t hear me complain about.

…her collection was inspired by a lot of thinking about Russian girls. Rich gave her girls names—Olga and Irina—and a backstory that saw the merging of the iconic Russian female gymnast and the (now equally) iconic Russian jet-set glamour girl. It was an oddball starting point for a collection, but it worked.Style.com

Wearing The Pants Damn Well

our Wearing The Pants project is still one of my favourite things – whenever i see a lady rocking the menswear i get a not-so-secret thrill. so scrolling through Tommy Ton’s latest street style assignment for Style.com at the menswear shows was a wonderful feast for the eyes. granted, the dudes look awesome too.

you can see a lot more ladies getting their pants on over here.

Mark Sanders

Mark Sanders is  UK based photographer who has done work for Monocle, Refinery 29, Margaret Howell, Mr Porter, Mary Karantzou and other rad fashion peeps. i love how colour plays into his work, tones of brown and green and black… you can peruse his work at his website, tumblr and agency.
