bumper fashion special #25! the secret squirrel & ruby autumn/winter 2010 collections are so amazing, i almost can’t wait for colder weather.
a mid-week bumper fashion special that is dedicated to everything nautical (i’m on holiday by the sea, give me a break)
you know, i’ve been skimping on the bumper fashion specials lately, mostly because i haven’t come across a lot of summer stuff that i find very inspiring (especially since at least 90% of what we’re exposed to fashion wise is from the north, where they are now settling into deep winter – jackets, coats, scarves, layers etc). so if you’re a southern african like me (or any other southern cousin), you’ll be experiencing 30+ degree heat by now – and black tights are the furthest things from your mind. that being said, i’ve done my best to collect some summer goodness from around the web. note: i’m not counting the spring / summer 2010 shows, which i covered pretty extensively here, here, here & here
bumper fashion special #20 (yoh!) it’s a very wintery weekend here, so i am appreciating some ofthe fall/winter stuff happening north of the border… still some great summery stuff making an appearance, though.
bumper fashion special #19 – i’m interested to see what direction things are going to go next, feel that the rock / studded look is getting played a lot (even though… i love it)
bumper fashion special #17 – all the spring shows are starting to blur into one, will pick up with more ‘normal’ fashion specials next week!
bumper fashion special #15 – it’s spring 2010 time homies. some of my favourites:
bumper fashion special #12! i have to tell you, you’re in for a treat today. went a bit overboard with the bumper fashion special, as i discovered this Japanese site called Eruca. i really don’t know what the hell is going on there, but i managed to browse my way through hundreds of items, tons of designers (some international, some Japanese) – just… the most amazing selection ever. wowee! in my excitement i didn’t actually take note of who designed which pieces – so you’re just going to have to go on over there & have a looksee yourself.
