“Bérangère Claire presents each season a new collection of classics and basics with refined details … all garments that are easy to wear everyday, but more than a fashion, a style, simple and chic at affordable prices.”

cute really really cute (wow how dyslexic am i today) spring lookbook from harvey faircloth
i really like the sessùn lookbook for spring/summer 2010. oh and the clothes too, of course.
i want to see pretty french girls smiling, not pouting. after all, they are pretty and wearing cool clothes. when you see some random person walking down the street and they’re full on smiling, doesn’t it make you smile too?
oooooh knits! jerseys! cardigans! flip, i can’t wait for winter again. i am very impatient with the seasons – summer especially (i love it, but once we’re in the thick of it i usually will it to be over as soon as possible). winter, however, can stay. and this wonderful knitwear from new swedish label maska (created by maria svensson & lisa leierth) can stay, too.
once again testament to the fact that i love pretty clothes but don’t really know anything about the fashion world. why do the fashion designers reveal collections for an entire year ahead? i mean, pre-fall is technically the base of the fall collections, but the northern hemisphere is only starting to come out of their winter now (it’s not even SPRING there yet, so they still have 2 entirely different seasons to get through). yes so…. yes. don’t roll your eyes at me, fashion people! perhaps if you know better than me you could tell me why i ask such silly questions ;)
A.P.C.‘s new spring/summer 2010 lookbook: so french, so chic, so simple, so nice.
the menswear is also very nice (for the very fashionable male, would be a while before this look caught on in south africa beyond hipsters and gay guys… if ever):
