i love deer tick, i think i have listened to art isn’t real (city of sin) about 200,000 times. this is a cover of sean kingston’s song beautiful girls. i had heard some shitty tune of sean kingston’s on the radio and could not for the life of me get it out of my head. so for some reason i googled him (my answer to everything) and by way of the internet gods hey, presto, i found this little gem. oi, i love his voice.
bat for lashes does kings of leon
this is a very mellow & organ-ey cover of use somebody by bat for lashes. she has such a lovely, husky voice – suits the tune i think.
