these paintings by American artist Richard Baker remind me of scenes from South African holiday homes all over the country – well used paperback novels and vintage versions of Monopoly (that you still play with your family, every summer). the old copy of Pit made me laugh, a game that Anton introduced me to that his family have played for decades. have you ever played it? it has to be the loudest, most chaotic, funnest card game ever.
i like these vintage collages by felicia piacentino
I am a 22 year old graphic design student, born and raised in the dark forests of Sweden. I take pictures to remember, to preserve a passing moment and to distinguish interesting details from their otherwise average surroundings. I love traveling and take my best pictures when I travel. I have a fondness for all things vintage, typography and morning light. I have spent most of my life thinking I cannot draw. I am not yet convinced of the contrary, but at least now I am trying.
i wasn’ t planning on posting today because i’ve been sick in bed for a day and a half. however, there’s only so much sleeping and tv watching a girl can do before feverish boredom sets in. so i decided to play around with my camera which hasn’t got much love from me lately, and took some shots of things i own & treasure.
oh how i do love discovering a quality vintage photo collection. these are all from signs & wonders
i looooooooove cowboys! another new years resolution is to marry a cowboy. with a beard.
