2016 Holiday Gift Guide: Red

oh my, i never thought i’d say this… but RED might be my favourite gift guide so far! i would happily wear this tee and this cap while sipping coffee out of this flask and skimming this book by the glow of this light – all with a tomato sheet mask on…

2016 Holiday Gift Guide: White

the only thing that’s white about our Christmases are our beaches. i was just recently musing how i would love to someday house swap with someone up north during the festive season, just to experience a cold Christmas for once. but there is also something comforting about eating cold meats, salads…

2016 Holiday Gift Guide: Green

it’s surprisingly tough to find green themed gifts, perhaps it’s just not a fashionable colour right now? but i, for one, love all these things – especially the marbled pieces. that octopus hook is super cute too (i have another awesome hook that i’ll be featuring in my Gold gifts guide…

2016 Holiday Gift Guide: Black

i actually didn’t intentionally PLAN to post my black 2016 Holiday Gift Guide post on Black Friday, but there you go. a strange thing has happened in South Africa – and i’m sure everywhere else in the world – Black Friday has become a thing here. which i find amazing because…

2016 Holiday Gift Guide: Pink

i actually haven’t done gift guides in a couple of years, so i thought it was about time to revive these! and as is tradition, i am sorting them by colour. truth be told i don’t really want anything for Christmas this year. i would love just to hang out…

Beklina Giveaway!

one of the great perks about posting things i love is that it often connects me to the very makers that i blog about. one such example is Lina Rennell – the amazingly creative woman behind online shop Beklina whose own line i shared earlier this year. one thing lead to another, and…

Gift Guide No.2

i own two of the things on this page – that Olle Eksell Eyes poster (you can also buy a the original version from his official website if you want it.) and of course Reflektor which has to be my album of the year… give the gift of music! i would also…

Give Some Art

my go-to gift, and also my favourite to receive, is a print or a piece of art for my wall (or floor, or shelf, or wherever i can squeeze it in due to impending space issues). 20×200 has a great gift guide going at the moment, which i think is…

svpply

i am officially addicted to svpply. it’s like pinterest + ffffound + polyvore all rolled into one. i know boutiques.com just opened with huge fanfare, and i played around with it a little, but it’s not nearly as rad. in fact, i hated all the suggestions that google (sorry, boutiques.com) gave me, and how they categorised my style as casual chic. come on! talk about a cliché guys. svpply on the other hand has me excited about basically every single product that i see on the home page, it’s not just fashion AND they have a super helpful gift guide section.

if you want to see my growing collection just go here, and be sure to sign up + share your link so i can follow you.
