if i ever have a lovely little beach house to decorate, these prints would slipstream right in there – by wayne pate
how rad & beautiful is this? simply breakfast. i could eat breakfast for dinner, i tell you.
nothing amsterdam‘s cardboard office. i would probably spill coffee all over that place.
this home designed for a ‘malaysian power family’ has nine bedrooms, two family rooms, a family kitchen and a private dining area, a family library, a game room, a study, a public reception area, a formal dining room, a ballroom, chapel, 21 bathrooms, a swimming pool, two guest suites plus indoor private and guest parking. the ballroom has a round chandelier of 13,000 custom-designed undulating petals of unglazed cast porcelain biscuit. top notch – via coolhunter
now i know some of you might think it’s sacrilege to paint over a wooden piece, but the fact of the matter is that this particular chest of drawers only cost me R300 (that’s like, US $40) – and it basically just had a shoddy veneer that was chipping in places.
i love these kitchen cupboards – so simple! i know people get kind of stressed out about redoing their kitchens, then they end up spending lots of cash on fake wood and fake granite tops etc etc – but look how great this solution is. i reckon probably inexpensive in comparison, too. if you ever get tired of that scandanavian wood vibe, just paint them. boom. via decor8
