miniature artists books

what the what! i’ve posted about elsa mora before, but i hadn’t seen her new venture, as it were, until now.

A miniature book is a very small book, sized from .5 inches square to roughly 2 by 3 inches—no larger than 3 inches in height, width or thickness. These books became more popular in the last few decades of the 19th century because they were portable and easy to conceal.

Artists’ books are works of art realized in the form of a book. They are often published in small editions, though sometimes they are produced as one-of-a-kind objects referred to as “uniques”.

miniature artists books! go have a look at them, they are un-flippen-believable.
