Animal Love

i’m going to revive the photo bomb series because my flickr favourites are so vast, but i’ve decided to share new, old and favourite photographers theme by theme because otherwise all you get is a disconnected bunch of photos and this isn’t tumblr, folks. if you want to explore past flickr favourites in the archives, you can check out the photo bombflickr tags… or just browse the photography category.

Slaap

a welcome side-effect of this time of year is just wanting to sleep, all the time. i am an early riser by nature but lately i’ve been flirting with the snooze button and am quickly becoming an expert at the snappy (and not so snappy) afternoon nap. there isn’t even the “it’s winter and we need to hibernate” excuse to fall back on … since it’s summer in this part of the world – i shouldn’t have to explain that but sometimes the hemispheres seem to surprise people.

Truest Blue

what i’d like summer holidays to look and feel like – cool & blue. click on the images to go to the original.

Photo Bomb No.2

the first photo bomb post (where i shared some flickr favourites) turned out to be pretty popular, so i have decided to make this into a series. the fact is that i discover far too many cool snaps on flickr to allow a post dedicated to each and every photographer, so this is a great way for me to share wonderful work with you.

Photo Bomb No.1

if there is a site i browse more than any other it has to be Flickr. i have close to 10,000 favourites on there and i add more every single day. i’m always desperate to share them with you, but most of the time i feel like i need to stick to some kind of mood or have a specific theme in mind when sharing because the blog isn’t supposed to be just a bookmarking site for cool stuff. not today. these are simply some of my recent Flickr favourites – i hope that you discover some great new photographers this way.
