first spotted this over at stay fancy free – they were taken by nina leen who churned out countless of amazing photographs that i’m happily discovering all over the internet. how amusing are these college girls parading around in their slacks? what a revelation. looking good.
i mentally high five the internet when i manage to piece together enough info about exquisite ladies that i see all over street style blogs. this is ulyana sergeenko and she is a russian photographer
so i said the other day that kirsten dunst deserves her own style post, and while i was cleaning up my computer i found some old photos i had saved to my ‘inspiration folder’ (before i started saving things online aka blogging everything i liked…) one thing i noticed about kirsten is that she’s years ahead of the trends; all these photos are from between 2004 – 2008 and she’s rocking stuff that girls are all wearing now (military jackets, breton stripes, clog type platforms, doc martens – the list goes on and on). anyway i’ve always loved her & find her taste pretty impeccable and effortless, will have to do an update one of these days of kirsten circa 2010…
i really like the format of the hoy fashion, a street style blog based in london, manchester & liverpool – such spontaneous & lovely portraits and details.
the kind of dress up party i’d actually get excited about – all photos by mr. newton
care for some aubin & wills? um, yes please. can i have one of everything?
i just wanted to let you know that i have started a tumblr called appreciate please. it’s basically a way for me to bookmark and save mostly fashion & style related stuff (which i know many people aka men find boring – so if that’s your thing head on over). naturally things also take a bit of a vintage slant because i can’t flippen help myself, so it’s a mixed bag really.
we’ve had a week of lovely blustery rainy cape winter weather and i’ve had to drag around umbrellas that i keep forgetting everywhere and wearing rainjackets with hoodies that don’t fit or stay on my head (i don’t even have an exceptionally large head!). toying with the idea of a head scarf…
i’m coming across this lady on different blogs and i have no idea who she is. do you? all i know is i just loved that image of her in the pink scalloped jacket (perfect), and then when i saw her in the orange skirt i recognised her. later i discovered i had actually saved an image of last year. ah, great taste.
