My lord, the contrast of the pale, archetypal ballerina with this strange, labyrinthine room – the windows look like entrances to some kind of dark hive. Reminds me of the music video for Interpol’s Lights.

And I sincerely don’t think it is a Swan Lake’s rehearsal ! it is rather a ballet class as in this time, dancers were working with this outfits ;-)
