i immediately clicked through to Mimi Thorisson’s blog Manger after Joanna posted about her garden cake. Mimi lives in the Médoc region of France with her family and 14 (!) dogs including a german pointer called Gertrude who i would probably steal if we ever met (german short haired pointers are my favourite pooches). she writes about life in the country and shares wonderful recipes including one of my absolute favourites eton mess and sophia loren’s meatballs (not a euphemism).

Oh wow, I have a soft spot for all these pretty pictures of food. Now I want to go cooking even though it’s way too hot to sit in the kitchen in this kind of weather.
So she´s beautful, she cooks amazing food, has 4 children and 14 dogs and lives in the enchanting frech countryside… But then, have you seen her HAIR?! Jealous, moi?
