absolutely love the new Meditteraneo collection from la casita de wendy, made up of spanish designers Inés Aguilar and Iván Martíneza, who collaborated with illustrator Ana Sender to create yet another beautifully unique collection. you can see all their previous collections on their blog – be sure to check out the spring summer 2012 collection & the arts and crafts collection from 2010.
Inés and Iván, two designers from madrid are behind “la casita de wendy”. Respectively, they hold diplomas in architecture and philosophy and started designing clothes seven years ago. Their models are marked by strong use of colours, by original shapes, their star shaped and dotted motifs based on Iberian fairy tales.

Now that is a little too similar to the workwear of the fish-selling ladies from my area for me to enjoy. But it has some pretty sweet details, gotta admit!
