spotted this lookbook for Barcelona based backpack makers Ölend on thisispaper, and i am particularly taken by the sweet styling of high-waist jeans and chunky knits. that’s exactly how i would imagine myself if i was travelling through the north of England on a cold day (or whatever). there would be a flask with some hot coffee in that backpack, that’s for sure. can you tell that i’m longing for cold weather? it’s just too damn hot here right now. the lookbook was photographed by Carlota Guerrero.
Ölend is a brand of handmade bags in Barcelona founded by Adriana Rios Dumon and Fran in late 2012. His intention is to offer a product that recovers the essence and style of backpacks used by the climbers in the 40s and 50s. Backpacks are custom-made, under the Olend philosophy, summarized in the taste for things well done, with soul and patience.
