Hannah Ferrara is one of my favourite people to follow online, not only because of her beautiful jewellery line Another Feather, she’s also a fine, fine Instagrammer. she has just launched the new collection for her line, Pearl. she styled the beautiful lookbook herself and it features another stylish woman modelling the pieces – Madelynn Hackwith Furlong (who has a great blog and rad apartment that i posted about before). the photos were taken by Caylon Hackwith who is Madelynn’s husband. so there you go – one seriously cool team.

Portland-based maker and artist Hannah Ferrara began making minimalistic jewelry after searching long & hard for the pieces she herself wanted to wear. Inspired by her travels, minimal design, ancient relics, and an appreciation for well made objects and heirlooms, her line Another Feather includes minimal metal made jewelry and simple everyday adornments.

in the midst of planning a georgia o’keeffe centennial, the posted images of the model’s hands instantly reminded me of the photos alfred steiglitz shot of GOK’s hands in the 1920’s. elegance is timeless. thanks for posting.

  2. Gotta say, I’m not impressed with this artist. I emailed her a long time ago (we’re talking 6 months) about wanting to order something custom, and never heard back. Bad business…
