this series of images that i discovered in the LIFE archives fascinated me because up until that point i had never even thought that such a thing as a “medical art school” would exist. but of course, yes. i’m just grateful that more gory things weren’t documented. if i wanted to see that i would just switch on my TV (Outlander and The Knick, i’m looking at you).

a friend and i were chatting the other day and she was telling me about how she’d recently gone to visit a local vintage market and most of the sellers were young girls – and all their wares were from the 90s. that made us chuckle because, well, we wore these clothes in the 90s. …
my brother and i on his birthday. more on that below… this month marks SEVEN years of this old blog being in the world! i never knew how long i would be able to keep it up, seven years is beyond expected! if this blog was a child it would already be in big school… aaw i’m imagining …
