this past winter i realised that almost every single thing i bought was black and i would wear it with white or denim or whatever – but overwhelmingly black, nonetheless. and i was more than okay with that. i am currently mourning the impending loss of my rad MONODROBE with the oncoming heat we’ll be experiencing soon (shudder… or should i say, sweat?)
so it pleases me to see that is embracing my personal dressing taste, with so much good monodrobe stuff happening over there. MONODROBE. you heard it here first.

I just posted about a similar trend thats going on in my closet. I don’t even care. I’m so stoked on how easy it is. In Cali its been ridiculously hot but yesterday was my first taste of chilly weather and i really want one of those teddy bear fur coats.
I’ve been feeling the same way and I plan to continue into summer. I have a lot of patterned and bright clothes, but everything I’m attracted to now is simple and classic.
Hi MissMoss, none of the images appear on Chrome. This has happened in the past with similar posts. Thought you might want to know ;)
hey Marie – if you have ad blocking enabled on your browser then you won’t see it!
effortlessness & simplicity – that’s it. I totally agree with you guys. Classy but casual at the same time, never without that certain something!

This is precisely what is happening to me. I have recently noticed I am being drawn to a more neutral wardrobe of the exciting colors or lack there of oatmeal, taupe, white, black, and grey. But i have decided that is just fine with me. It is good to know what you like and be comfortable with just that.
in response to above – I’m on chrome and I see it all, no problems here
This is the perfect minimalist life-style
Hey Girl,
Lovely wardrobe, my jaw dropped because this is something I’ve always wanted to try out. I always thought life would be SO much easier if I had a wardrobe where everything was navy, grey or black. But am I the only one that feels a little bit depressed when I see no color? It’s effortless and chic yes but doesn’t your mood get a bit dreary with no colour all the time?
Just wanted to ask as I’ve always been curious how others feel while wearing monotone-esque clothing.
Cheers
Shan
