Jo Waterhouse is a designer from the UK who specialises in hand-printed textiles, homewares and fine art prints. you can buy her awesome things at her online shop, but you can also find her goods at Family Tree in London for the next 2 months leading up to Christmas. so if you want some cool gifts, get on down there!
Jo does not use computers to create her designs. She hand-draws onto screens, carves designs into blocks and uses inks to achieve vibrant colours that are different to digitally printed textiles. Her first printed textile product was a cuddly fish, which she sold on her antique stall in Spitafields market in 2012. She was surprised to be inundated with orders after her first batch of ten sold out in a week. Since then, her range has grown to include more toys including a tortoise, various cushions, posters and prints.
