i love following Whitney Bickers on Instagram, she has the cutest shop and style and clients. if i ever make it to LA one day then i will have to pay Myrtle a visit, stat. i also love receiving her new lookbooks in my inbox – they are always interesting & unique. the last one i featured was illustrated which i thought was just brilliant! this is her latest, for FW14.
I worked with photographer Megan McIsaac again and we were privileged to have an extra special location this time around: the Holmes-Shannon House, a private Los Angeles residence built in 1911. It is so easy to think of LA as ultra-modern and perennially sunny, but we wanted to show a different side of the city which has so many hidden gems like this home. In keeping with our vintage styling and location, the lookbook is completely analog–medium format film and Polaroids–no digital!
