Leslie Knope is front and centre as the featured image of this week’s distraction – because she is the best – but also because, sadly, Parks and Recreation is over. frankly i have referenced treat yo self far too many times on this blog to not dedicate an entire post to Parks & Rec, but this introductory paragraph will have to do.
i actually started watching the show as a mid week distraction of sorts, just a filler for couch time. but as it got past that bumpy first season (remember how annoying Leslie used to be?!) it quickly became one of my favourite shows. i always worried that it was going to be cancelled before it reached a satisfactory conclusion, but somehow they managed to hang in there for seven awesome seasons. perhaps it’s bizarre to say, but i’m so happy to know the characters are in a good place! Jerry / Larry / Terry / Garry’s ending really made me laugh.
i’m going to miss them. any new favourite shows i should check out to help fill my couch time?
these are AMAZING, especially if you don’t know anything about music. watch them all right now!

Oh, come on! I just finished the last one!
Really loved your list this week. Especially the tax, soup stock and make ahead lunches articles.
I am almost finishing the last season… I have to say this last one seems a bit like it was made just to get it over with. I am a bit disappointed and I was so looking forward to it!
thank you so much for the link love, @miss_moss !!! http://t.co/mCvcDUgP5Z
Mid Week Distraction No. 15 http://t.co/x1tHieAikB
Let the distractions begin!
An especially lovely set of distractions!!! I particularly liked the 1950s kitchen, and the make-ahead lunches sound delicious! Recently Rejected is also really interesting and beautiful. And who couldn’t love Christina doing Britney?! Too good!
xx
I feel like Parks & Rec gave us the ending that they would have wanted to see too! I’m going to miss it so, so much.
Look forward to this every week, thanks so much for these distractions ☻
Loving the lovely feature from @miss_moss on our Guide to Tax Season for Entrepreneurs this week. xo http://t.co/DFBRr63ZbL
Ummm, thanks I guess! I opened the post thinking I would click on a few things, waste a few minutes or so. Clicked on +every single one+…
