six years ago today i wrote my first post! and it was dedicated to my mom, bless. i never imagined that the blog would grow to where it is today, and that it would become such a life-changing part of my existence. i was just a 25 year old girl who wasn’t quite sure what she wanted to do with her life / career / self / spare time. but i had an insatiable love for the internet and a desire to share cool things with people.
if anything i was lucky that blogging found me the way that it did, and that i got started at a time when it wasn’t all about money and sponsorship and being famous online. i’m also proud to have kept the blog the way i love it – without pandering to likes or compromising the content for any reason.
i want to say thank you so much to all of you for reading. whether you’ve been following right from the beginning, or if you’re just popping in every now and then, or maybe you only visited that one time and you’re never coming back! hope you enjoyed it nevertheless? i enjoyed writing every post and reading every comment.
i thought i would step into the Miss Moss Time Machine to show you the very many and very varied designs of the blog using the wonderful, amazing and stupendous Internet Archive. have you heard of it?
The Internet Archive non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library. Its purposes include offering permanent access for researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public to historical collections that exist in digital format.
