hello! right now I am sitting at the airport in Nairobi waiting to catch a connecting flight to Kiliminjaro. from there we are going on a week long self-driving safari holiday – visiting the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and the Serengeti National Park. we will be camping in the Serengeti, where there are no fences. *cue wide eyed emoji here*
it is a dream trip for us, at the very top of our bucket list, and we are privileged to share it with Anton’s mother who is doing a 15000km road trip through Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia & Botswana in her 4×4. follow her journey on Instagram.
I will also be posting on Instagram when I can, otherwise you will have to wait till I return when I will certainly bombard you with many, many photos.
In the meantime please enjoy these beautiful photographs of the Serengeti & Ngorongoro taken by my super talented mom – who visited there in 2008 & 2012.

I’m in all of how beautiful Tanzania is, all that beautiful wilderness.
Eee! Can’t wait to follow along and live vicariously! Have a great trip!
Super lucky! I can only imagine how magical it is!
Amazing – I’ve been traveling like crazy the past couple of years and now I’m in NYC for the entire summer. Ok, it’s not a bad place to be but when I see things like this I want to pack my bags and run. Can’t wait for more posts!

Your Mum’s photos are beautiful. It sounds like an amazing holiday. I haven’t yet visited the African continent. Would absolutely love to. I get overwhelmed by how much there is to see and how little time I will have to see it and indecision strikes. You’ve just got to make the decision and dive in, right? Have a wonderful adventure.
This sounds like a dream trip! I can’t wait to see your photos.
Those photos! Have a wonderful trip!
These images are stunning. I love the tone. Enjoy your vacation! It sounds like it will be a wonderful experience, especially because it is time spent, and memories made, with loved ones! Take lots and lots of photos (as if I have to tell you)!
