one thing i’m really excited about is introducing Axel to animals. i mean, right now he can barely recognise my face let alone appreciate how cute a kitten is – but before we know it he’ll be picking out his first puppy… and it’s highly possible i might be more excited than him when that day comes! what kid isn’t absolutely obsessed with animals? i know i was as a child, and my recent rediscovery of Gerald Durrell and the story of his upbringing made me appreciate the unconditional loving relationship between a child and their animal friend.
