the only thing that’s white about our Christmases are our beaches. i was just recently musing how i would love to someday house swap with someone up north during the festive season, just to experience a cold Christmas for once. but there is also something comforting about eating cold meats, salads and refreshing pavlova in the sunshine for Christmas lunch – then sleeping it all off on the couch before taking a sunset walk on the beach. this is what our holiday season looks like, by the way.
