have i been living under a rock…? cause i had never heard of FARM until today. this Brazilian fashion & lifestyle label was founded more than 20 years ago by two creatives with a stall at a Rio market:
The story began in 1997 in Rio at a local independent fashion market called Babilonia Feira Hype where founders Katia Barros and Marcello Bastos took their chances on launching a clothing line that embodies the feminine spirit and vibrant colors of Rio. Brazilians quickly fell in love with the brand, the booth became a store, that grew into more stores, and now FARM is Brazil’s most recognized brand.
We believe in local culture, and we keep it alive. We believe in quality, we adore details, and the emotions created by these elements, because a powerful product inspires positive transformations in everyone and everywhere.
they make the coolest puffer jackets i have ever seen. and don’t get me started on the dresses.
but the best thing about them, besides their clothing of course, is that for each purchase made they donate one tree to be planted in the Amazon rainforest. they’ve donated more than 50,000 trees so far. they also have an admirable sustainability ethos.
they ship internationally, so shop away dear friends. get that puffer jacket, girl.
