Hey friends! wow i have been loving blogging again. it makes me so… happy. it feels like time spent well, compared to just endlessly scrolling on instagram and Tik Tok (as much as i love bedtime procrastination…) If you’re new around here (welcome!) then Goodies is where i do a run down of things i am loving all around the internet right now. here’s is edition no. 36…
local designers Pedersen + Lennard have been releasing the coolest products lately, including a new kids push bike called Swift. we actually have the first incarnation of this push bike, which was originally made from plywood, and has been passed down between about 6 kids by now. their products are really made to last. also love their skoppie, kitchen goodies, hose pipe hanger (so clever!) and this beautiful bird feeder. all their products are made to order, so you can choose from lots of colours!

LOVE these cake prints by illustrator Alice Oehr – i would want an entire wall of them…
since i had kids i almost exclusively use cross body bags – it’s just easier to have your hands free when you’re lugging around a toddler, holding a 5 year old’s hand and also probably carrying some shopping. i love the Mini Primo and the Nova from French brand Léo and Violette:
such a cute little lamp, love the tortoiseshell slash leopard vibe (it comes in 7 different colours):
love the look and sound of this natural, vegan, plastic-free, compostable, probiotic and refillable deodorant called Fussy. i feel like south africa is so far behind on innovations like this (product designers take note…) it comes in 5 different scents, including unscented.
these rugs (and all the other things in the range) that Marcello Velho designed for Anthropologie are simply 10/10
i’m into everything that clean beauty brand Saie is selling, especially their tinted moisturiser Slip Tint:
the Princess Highway x ModCloth colab is so cool, i’d feel like Donna or Jackie from That 70s show rocking these:
extraordinarily beautiful vases and other objects by Asili:
and perfect for the summer, fun new prints from Me&B:
I am THE most passive internet user (aka lurker) ever, but am taking my time to comment because it’s so lovely to still occasionally get your posts in my RSS feed. Many thanks for taking the time to continue making such inspiring curations of eye candy!
Glad you are back
Have you tried one of these all natural organic deodorant sticks though? I tried Native and had to throw it away cause it left residue, it was sore to apply cause it was so dry and it smelt bad. Maybe Fussy is better but it put me off.
I’ve dabbled with a few here in SA – I found the crystal ones quite effective. And the only international one I’ve tried is Shea butter based. But I can see how they can be a bit hard…? The one I use I actually warm up in my fingers first.
Yay! You’re back!
Those bikes… might have to invest for Finn.
