picnics might usually be associated with spring & summer, but autumn in the winelands (and south africa in general) is pretty much perfect outdoor weather in my mind. you can sit in the sun without getting hot, i mean – what’s better than that? yesterday i was driving with the window down and there was that yummy autumn smell in the air… it made me think about times spent lazing the day away on the grass somewhere. preferably eating some kind of cheese.
