if you’re a Kinfolk follower then you might already know about their new venture that was announced yesterday – Ouur. Kinfolk founder Nathan Williams was kind enough to send me some information on their new collective brand; which offers a seasonal line of apparel, publications (incl Kinfolk) and home goods. i also got a peek at the AW14 Ouur Collection. the line is influenced by Scandinavian & Japanese cultures, both of which consistently focus on simplicity in design, and have placed high value on doing more with less.
Ouur’s range of apparel is made using textiles such as linen, cotton and wool. Created with a sharp attention to detail, classic silhouettes and a neutral color palette, each item has been made with an emphasis on comfort and utility. The pieces in the collection will be interchangeable, functional and wearable in all seasons.
the Ouur collection is currently available in Japan, and will be released later this year in the US. to stay updated follow Ouur on Instagram and Facebook.
